Movie Review: Now You See Me

Now You See Me

Directed by: Louis Leterrier

Starring:
Jesse Eisenberg as D. Michael Atlas
Morgan Freeman as Thaddeus Bradley
Mark Ruffalo as Detective Hobbs
Isla Fisher as Hennley
Dave Franco as Jack Wilder
Woody Harrelson as Merritt McKinney

Oh you'd never guess the twist in this movie. Haha!! I bet no one did.

'Always be the smartest one in the room'
What a neat trick Michael Atlas! Jesse Eisenberg is so perfect for arrogant, smart-ass roles. He suits them so much! The talking fast, know it all act is something he has definitely mastered. Hoorah! Well thinking about it kind of versatile. He can also do the shy type, never been kissed roles like in Zombieland and Adventureland. (haha both titles got the word land in them) Right? Well he's adorable and applause to him!

Seriously. The closer you look....
The less you will see.

Overall though the movie was pretty good. Pretty spectacular cause of the neat tricks and all that, the secrecy in everything and the mysteriousness in why they are doing all of those. They certainly weren't in it for the money but for the fame, success and just purely to entertain the crowd. The story though was a little bit too short? Well for me it was. It lacked the "story" itself in the movie that it needed a little bit more details on how it leads to the end. I mean we all got why all those happened, connecting this in that but it really lacked that umph in it.

But still great actors in one film so who would not want to see it? Plus their trailer is just amazeballs!

On this scene gosh. What a neat trick! Dave Franco definitely did a great action scene here. Bravo to you. You do look handsome by the way hihi. With that slight cowboy -ish accent of your. Rarr!

We are the four horsemen and goodnight!
(I can always here Isla Fisher's voice standing out when the four of them say this haha!)

Movie Review: Olympus Has Fallen

http://www.ktdt.com.vn/Admin/TrinhSoanThao/editor/filemanager/connectors/aspx/UploadFiles/image/A2013/HH/T3/14/olympus-has-fallen.jpg

Directed by: Antoine Fuqua

Starring:
Gerard Butler as Mike Banning
Aaron Eckhart as President Asher
Morgan Freeman as Speaker Trumbull & Acting President

Absolutely brilliant and thrilling! An action filled movie that is a must see. Kinda brutal that is why it is rated R-13 but what the heck! A still must watch especially if you are a dude you would definitely enjoy this film.

Okay so this movie just kept me on my bottoms the whole time! So much action and you just want to stare at Gerard Butler and hope he shows his perfectly built, muscular behind! hihi. And damn how he moves! He is perfect for action film. I was actually for hoping for him to flash his perfectly built muscular behind! It is so perfect his girlfriend Madalina Ghenea is way too lucky!!!

Gerard Butler's character in this film is so smart and slightly cocky at the same time. He loves working in the White House and he would do just anything to keep the job and keep the safety of President Asher and his family and of course the United States of America. Though Aaron Eckhart as the President of the United States does not really suit him (well for me). I still kinda see him as the villain in every film like in The Dark Knight. He just seems like he has the anti-superhero a.k.a. bad guy look! But job well done in portraying his character.

There are some parts that need something kaboom-ing but still!! What a great film.  I won't go to deets anymore but I definitely love this film and recommending it to everyone!

Movie Review: Oblivion

http://www.thehollywoodnews.com/wp-content/uploads/oblivion-poster.jpg

Directed by: Joseph Kosinski

Starring:
Tom Cruise as Jack Harper
Morgan Freeman as Malcolm Beach

Futuristic as it may seem since the movie is set on earth in the year 2077. Such as long time from twenty-thirteen right? And another movie where Tom Cruise' character is named Jack just like in his 2012 film Jack Reacher HAHA. I honestly never liked any Tom Cruise movie. They all seem to be... corny and bland. Yes he is pretty good at being an action star. He was good in The Last Samurai and his film with Cameron Diaz Knight and Day but as an actor for me, he is not that great but just o k.

I honestly had a hard time understanding the film because it lacked giving some information like what were their aims??? Like seriously I do not usually have a hard time understanding movies and it is a rare case when that happens but with this movie, my mind was in a whirlpool trying to understand the story. But I tried my best on understanding it and I would really want to watch it another time not because I loved it or something but for me to go back to some of the scenes to fully understand the story. And if you do watch it, I bet you would want to watch it twice or even thrice to understand the story.

The movie is a futuristic one where there was an invasion not really sure if it were aliens but there was a war between humans and 'aliens' but in the end the humans won but the earth was ruined due to the war they were in. So they had to rehabilitate the earth but it was not possible due to the immense damage that has been done to the planet so they had to live in a different one. What they are doing now is using up the sea water that goes through some mechanism that is turned in to something that they vitally need in order to live in Saturn (?). But then the twist comes in like is this really for the humans or what? There's something fishy going on when a blast comes in and Jack Harper goes in and checks it and secrets are revealed and that is when the real action begins.

If someone were to watch it for the first time I am definitely telling people not spending that much money for this kinda long weird mind boggling movie. Just wait for it to be shown on HBO or Star Movies or wherever HA HA
